On his 12th birthday, Andy realizes that he is completely helpless against his mother's suffocating and restrictive love. Due to his "helicopter mother's" constant supervision, the boy lives his daily life in total isolation and loneliness. His teammates regularly mock him because he is unable to even tie his own shoelaces. Raised in the illusion of love, by the age of 21, Andy rebels against the world and his own mother as a frustrated, unmotivated man.
